A.G. Russell Knives

The SOG Trident folders have features that are common to several of SOG's most popular knives. Upon closer inspection, you will find that they have features not normally seen in a folder. The Trident uses S.A.T.™ technology to open the knife, just open the knife about 1/3 of the way and the knife does the rest.

In the late 1990s, the Japanese manufacturers of blades for the Ek® Hunters asked us to help them out by purchasing the abandoned stock for four knives. With permission from the then owners of the Ek trademark, we purchased parts in various levels of completion including marked blades. We offered those to our customers beginning in 2005 with great success.

This compact spotlight solves a problem I have had for years. I have always kept a flashlight in my glove compartment, but every time I need it, the batteries are dead. Essential Gear has come up with the perfect solution. This is a simple little thing, about the size of a car cigarette lighter.

The TwoCan is a nice little knife with a carabiner bail for attaching to your key ring. When you open the second blade it is also a really nice pair of snips, the nicest pocket scissors I have seen in over 25 years.

At less than 3 oz., this Titanium handled Frame Lock is a very handy knife. The new flat ground spear point blade makes it a fine hunting knife or utility knife, in most instances, a street legal knife for all purposes.

For the past 35 years, I have been designing knives and having them made by makers (both handmade and production) in all parts of the United States as well as in Solingen, Germany, Poland and Seki City, Japan. There have been several dozen companies, large and small, but never have I had another company go from pencil drawing (or ball point on a paper napkin) as fast as our colleagues in Italy. They take my sketch, fax me a formal drawing and on approval make a prototype.

For SOG's 20th anniversary they have introduced an adaptation of the original SOG Bowie that founded the company. This new large format 7-1/2" blade will stun you with its exacting construction and precise grind lines.

From one of our Japanese suppliers, this folder can be safely clipped to your trousers, belt or other gear, readily accessible when you need it.

These Italian made picnic tools are based on a design that in Depression Era America became called a Hobo Knife. The name stuck because some version of this knife was carried by men who wandered from place to place looking for work, many using freight trains as a method of transportation. The word Hobo became a name used to describe these travelers.

This is another very limited and unique Lancet Button Lock from Matt Conable and the crew at William Henry Knives! It is a simple model B10 with Titanium frame that has been dressed up with Mammoth Tooth handle scales and a 2-5/8" drop point blade of Mike Norris Ribbon Lace Damascus.

All knives in this series are equipped with clip options that allow four-position carry on belts or webbing--tip up, tip down, left or right. (Caution: These knives are not designed for tip-up in-pocket carry.)
