Order Details

A tear drop shape handle supports a double ground dagger-like blade (it is only sharp on one side) of 8Cr13MoV with our required heat treat giving us 57-59 Rc. hardness. This is a steel that we use in many of our designs being produced in China. It takes an edge and holds it really well and is highly spoken of by our customers who buy and use their knives.

The liners, bolsters and caps, and lock bar are all stainless. Measures 3-7⁄8" closed with a 3" blade. Weighs 2.8 to 3.0 oz. depending on the handle material that includes India Stag, Smooth White Bone or Mother of Pearl with Abalone spacers. Instead of a clip that would spoil the traditional lines we provide a brown leather pouch with a pocket clip. Made in China.

A.G. Russell Knives

From the age of nine I made homemade knives until I was about twenty-four when I began to make handmade knives, crude but no longer made at home. A few years later, I had met and learned from makers like R.W. Loveless and R. L. Dozier. I made knives until the mid 1970s. I don’t make handmade knives anymore, as my hands aren’t what they used to be. However, I do have very talented makers in the United States and Japan who make knives that I am proud to put my name on. I design pocketknives, one hand knives, lockbacks, and fixed blade knives and have them made to our standards. ~A.G. Russell III
