Limited to 100 Pieces in this Color and Pattern

We introduced this knife, in a slightly larger version, as the 2012 Texas Ranger Collectible. It was based on a knife made during the 1920s by one of the smaller knife companies that did not survive the Great Depression. In 2015, I reduced the size to create the Arkansas Hunter. When we produced the Arkansas Hunter with Stag and Green G10, we also made a small quantity of frames without handle scales to allow us to add different handle options.

is is our second very limited production of the A. G. Russell™ Arkansas Hunter. For this very limited edition, Wood Marquetry is being added by Santa Fe Stoneworks in a unique pattern as an exclusive for A. G. Russell™ Knives.

The 3-1/2" clip point blade is 8Cr13MoV at 57-59 Rc. The bolsters, caps, inlay and liners are finest quality stainless steel. The knife is designed to be opened one handed with either hand. Using the end of your thumb in the oversized nail nick, it is easy to swing the blade into the open position. The blade is so perfectly center ground that you will think you are looking at a handmade knife by one of the masters. Measures 4" closed. Weighs 4.3 oz. Knife made in China, handle scales produced and added in the U.S.A.

A.G. Russell Knives

From the age of nine I made homemade knives until I was about twenty-four when I began to make handmade knives, crude but no longer made at home. A few years later, I had met and learned from makers like R.W. Loveless and R. L. Dozier. I made knives until the mid 1970s. I don’t make handmade knives anymore, as my hands aren’t what they used to be. However, I do have very talented makers in the United States and Japan who make knives that I am proud to put my name on. I design pocketknives, one hand knives, lockbacks, and fixed blade knives and have them made to our standards. ~A.G. Russell III

A.G. Russell has been in the knives and whetstones business for over 50 years. A.G. Russell knives are well known for their quality. A.G. Russell knives tend to be more traditional in style and look, with modern advances in material and design to create excellent knives.
