Benchmade's Model 940 has been a popular knife for them and for us. The slim profile and light carry weight have made it that perfect EDC knife. It has gone through alterations over the years with dozens of variations. To celebrate the 20th production year of this model, Benchmade has released this limited edition version. The handles are titanium, and the unique blade is CPM-S90V. The crimson color of the anodized thumb stud and back spacers have added an understated elegance to the overall appearance. Limited to 2,000 pieces. We only have 10.

The 3-3/8" modified reverse tanto blade is CPM-S90V stainless at 59-61 Rc. with dual thumb stud openers for easy ambidextrous use. Available only with a plain edge blade. The titanium handle sides have stainless steel insets to avoid damage from blade rotation and lock function. The mini deep carry stainless steel pocket clip is reversible for left or right handed tip-up carry. The locking mechanism is Benchmade's AXIS lock, created by custom knifemakers Bill McHenry and Jason Williams. Measures 4-1/2" closed. Weighs 3.4 oz. Made in the U.S.A. Suggested retail is $400.00.
