Benchmade's SOCP rescue hook was designed by Greg Thompson, creator of the Special Operations Combative Program (SOCP) for the U.S. Army Special Operations Forces. Greg has over twelve years of experience training Spec Op soldiers. Designed for rescue performance and less-than-lethal self-defense. The SOCP rescue hook is narrow and thin for easy concealment and effective use.
The tool includes a rescue hook, a carbide glass breaker, O2 wrench and a finger loop. The ring at the end of the handle allows the user to hold onto the knife even when he needs to switch to another weapon. The molded sheath extends up the side of the ring making it difficult for anyone but the carrier to access the knife. The 2-3/4" x 3/16" skeletonized blade is 440C stainless at 58-60 Rc. with a non-reflective gray coating. Measures 6-3/4" and weighs 1.9 oz. The sheath is available in black. Made in the U.S.A.
