Billy Snyder is an Arkansas knifemaker who has trained with well known Arkansas knifemaker Keith Murr. He is part of a long line of knifemakers from Northwest Arkansas. In addition to having his own knife shop at different times, Keith spent time employed in the Bob Dozier knife shop.

Billy has spent his life in and around Berryville, Arkansas, where he still lives. He attributes his fascination with knives to his grandfather, who collected knives. As an adult he became acquainted with Keith and began to spend time in his shop. Over the past several years, Billy has become serious about being a knifemaker and is continuing to work with Keith.
