Billy Snyder is an Arkansas knifemaker who has trained with well known Arkansas knifemaker Keith Murr. He is part of a long line of knifemakers from Northwest Arkansas. In addition to having his own knife shop at different times, Keith spent some time employed in the Bob Dozier knife shop.

Billy has spent his life in and around Berryville, Arkansas, where he still lives. He attributes his fascination with knives to his grandfather, who collected them. As an adult he became acquainted with Keith and began to spend time in his shop. Over the past several years, Billy has become serious about being a knifemaker and continues to be mentored by Keith.

This is the second Snyder knife to be offered by A.G. Russell Knives other than the ocassional one being sold through The Cutting Edge®. This model is based on Keith's model 610 hunter with a 3-1/2" to 3-5/8" drop point blade of D2 at 60-61 Rc. The blade has a very fine satin finish and jimping on the spine above the mark. The handle scales are surface Ram's Horn. Measures 8" tip to butt. Weighs about 5.3 oz. Includes a leather belt pouch style sheath. Knife and sheath are handmade in Northwest Arkansas.
