The Copperhead is a Jack Knife with a particular shape bolster at the main pivot end of the handle. The shape of this bolster was probably designed to cover the sharp corner of the blade tang to protect the owner's pocket from wear. It is usually a small knife, but larger than a pen knife, with one or two blades. This version from Boker has a single 3" clip point blade of carbon steel with a mirror finish. (We suggest our RustFree™ to protect the blade from rust. – RF125 . . . . $7.95.) The handle scales are European Stag, the bolsters are nickel silver and the liners are brass. Very traditional. Measures 3-3/4"closed. Weighs only 2.5 oz. Made in Solingen, Germany.
