A 100 Piece Limited Edition

A patriotic American theme is running through the knife world today, and Buck® and David Yellowhorse are contributing to it. For the latest Yellowhorse embellished Buck knife, they have chosen Buck's new Model 101, a fixed blade, based on the Buck 110 Folding Hunter. Using traditional Navajo techniques, David has added bloody jasper, turquoise, black jet, nickel silver and aluminum inlays to create an image of an eagle in flight with stars and stripes to represent the American flag. Both the obverse and reverse side bolsters are embellished with hand cut stippling around the edges, and with "USA" and the outline of the Statue of Liberty cut into the flat surface. Hours of handwork go into each knife, and each will be slightly different.

The 3-3⁄4" full-tang clip point blade is 420HC stainless at 58-60 Rc. David's signature and the serial number (ex. 29/100) are engraved on the reverse side of the blade. (Sorry, no choice of serial number.) Does not have a sheath but ships with an American Walnut hinged glass top display case. Includes a certificate of authenticity. Measures 8-5⁄8" overall. Weighs 5.6 oz. Made in the U.S.A. Suggested retail is $700.00.

Buck Knives

Buck Knives has been around for a very long time. In fact, Buck Knives was just switching from handmade knives out of a Southern California Garage to factory made knives about the same time we began the A.G. Russell ™ Knife mail order business. Over the past half century buck has become one of the largest and most important knife companies in the world. They are so well known, in some parts of the country pocketknives are referred to as “Buck Knives.”
