Hoyt Buck’s first knife, made from a worn-out file blade in 1902, was a fixed blade which quickly became the iconic 119 Special. The U. S. Government requested blade donations for the military after the attack on Pearl Harbor. It is then, in the basement of a church in 1942, that Hoyt Buck began making knives by hand. The design was developed over 40 years of making knives to his customers' wants and needs. The Model 119 Special 75th Anniversary Edition is a tribute to that original knife, and the knife that over the years has become one of Buck’s most popular fixed-blade hunting knives. If you want to own a piece of history, buy yours today.

This 119 Anniversary Edition has a polished aluminum butt and guard and an ebony colored phenolic handle with a 75th Anniversary medallion inlay. The 5-7⁄8" Bowie style blade is 420HC stainless at 58 Rc. with a nice satin finish. Measures 10-3⁄8" overall. Weighs 8.0 oz. Black leather sheath and collector tin included. Suggested retail is $100.00.

Buck Knives

Buck Knives has been around for a very long time. In fact, Buck Knives was just switching from handmade knives out of a Southern California Garage to factory made knives about the same time we began the A.G. Russell ™ Knife mail order business. Over the past half century buck has become one of the largest and most important knife companies in the world. They are so well known, in some parts of the country pocketknives are referred to as “Buck Knives.”
