Part of their Holiday 2021 offerings Case had released eight models with Black Pearl Kirinite® handle scales. Kirinite is a material made of durable acrylic featuring swirling strands of contrasting colors. Remarkably durable this material resists chipping, cracking, warping and shrinking. It can be buffed to a high gloss finish and doesn't feel slippery in the hand even when wet. Since Kirinite is created using a single-batch process each piece is unique.
Each of the knives in this series has blades made from Case's Tru-Sharp surgical stainless steel that has been mirror polished and has a hardness of 54-57 Rc., nickel silver bolsters, nickel silver liners and the White SparXX(™) Case shield. Made in the U.S.A.
The Premium Stockman or Stock Knife is a serpentine shaped double end pocketknife that typically has two springs and three blades. The master blade is traditionally some type of clip point, the second usually a spey and the remaining blade can be a pen, sheepfoot or harness punch. This version has a 2-1/2" clip point blade, 1-7/8" sheepsfoot blade and a 1-3/4" spey blade. Closed length measures 3-1/2". Weighs 2.3 oz. Suggested Retail $95.50.

Case Knives
Finally, the W. R. Case Knife Company seems to be in good hands. The family that has guided the Zippo lighter company through so many successful years has begun to make a difference at their knife company. They have called back from retirement, skilled craftsmen who are teaching the current crop of cutlers. These new Case knives look more like those of the 1950's rather than those of the 1970's and 1980's.
