Mark Hazen has mastered the art of knife making over the past 30 plus years. Each knife is put through a 3 phase process to ensure that each knife meets the uncompromising quality standards. Each phase must be passed in order to continue to the next phase. Phase one is the cutting test, phase two is the comfort test and phase three is the fit and finish test.

The Protector Knives feature full tang blades made from High Carbon 1095 steel with a tumbled finish. Since this steel can patina when wet the knives have been treated with a high quality gun oil before leaving the factory. We strongly recommend that you use Rust Free (RF125) to maintain the best finish. The knives feature handle scales of red and black G-10 and both come with a kydex sheath.

Hazen Knives

In 1976 Mark Hazen started making his own knives when he couldn't afford to purchase a custom knife. The love of making knives started there. Mark started making knives for friends and eventually his knives were sought after by customers. Mark continued to make knives until he retired in 2007. In 2013 he came out of retirement and made a knife in honor of his fallen friend, MSG Robert Horrian, a Special Forces Operator stationed at Fort Bragg, NC.

Mark is reintroducing classic old world craftsmanship in new and innovative designs. All Hazen knives are uniguely crafted and well fitted for all sportsmen, military and law enforcement personnel.
