The new Kershaw Concierge will take care of all your pocketknife needs—discreetly and efficiently, just like its namesake. Designed by Dmitry Sinkevich, the Concierge has a clean, refined look. The 3-1/4" modified drop-point blade of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel opens with a flipper and Kershaw's manual KVT ball-bearing system, providing fast and easy one-handed opening. A custom pivot adds interest without detracting from the knife's clean lines.

The handle is built of machined G10 and offers a substantial grip and fills even larger hands comfortably. Yet thanks to the crowned finish on the G10 scales, the Concierge still feels slim enough to be an easy everyday carry. For a secure grip, a black glass-filled nylon backspacer with raised jimping has been added.

Turn the knife over and you'll see Dmitry's unique inset pocketclip. The tip-up carry only custom clip rests in a machined-out hollow in the handle—so that it's flush with the handle scale. This pocketclip treatment also contributes to the knife's slimmer feel and easy carry. The blade, liners, and hardware are titanium carbo-nitride coated for a sophisticated look—and is just one more reason why the Concierge will be at home no matter where your tasks may take you.

The blade steel has a hardness of 58-60 Rc. The closed length measures 4-1/4". Weighs 4.1 oz. Made in China. Suggested Retail $59.99.

Kershaw Knives

Kershaw Knives was founded in 1974 in Portland, Oregon when knife salesman Pete Kershaw started a cutlery company that would make knives from his designs. Japanese based KAI Cutlery manufactured those designs. In 1978, KAI Cutlery purchased Kershaw Knives and the company, renamed KAI USA Ltd., continues today with three product lines; including the original Kershaw Knives, Zero Tolerance Knives, and Shun Cutlery which primarily markets kitchen cutlery.

Over the years, Kershaw Knives has worked with several custom knifemakers. Cutlery Hall of Famer Ken Onion, a custom knife maker and inventor of the “SpeedSafe” assisted opening mechanism, is the premier knife designer for Kershaw Knives. Kershaw has also collaborated with custom knifemakers Grant and Gavin Hawk, Frank Centofante, and Ernest Emerson. Kershaw has released models that were developed in collaboration with National Geographic, Jeep, Orange County Choppers, the American Professional Rodeo Association, and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

Kershaw manufactures excellent knives and has built a very strong customer fan base due to their innovative designs and their quality control.
