The Maserin manufacturing company was established in 1960. The current owners, members of the family who founded it, have built the company on the tradition of the artisan blacksmiths who were the reason Maniago, Italy became known as the "city of the knives". Maserin®, and Maniago in general, have modernized their knifemaking processes using laser, CNC and other current technology, while maintaining high quality and building on traditional models.
The Onefold and the Damp were both designed by Moris Baroni. Both are small lightweight folders with a tip down pocket clip that allows unobtrusive carry at the top of the pocket. The contoured handle is comfortable and an indentation at the thumbstud makes it easy to open. The blades are 440C stainless at 56-57 Rc. Made in Maniago, Italy.

The Damp has a 1-3/4" straight edge blade with a bottle opener on the backside making this a great utility knife. The stainless steel handle frame supports a single handle scale in your choice of ebony, olive wood or paosantos wood. Frame lock. Measures 2-7/8" closed and weighs 1.6 oz.
