An A.G. Russell™ Exclusive

Over the years Santa Fe Stoneworks has created handle scales of semi-precious stones, pearl, mammoth ivory, dinosaur bone, and wood marquetry. This handle pattern is a recent idea. We selected a couple versions at the Blade Show in early June 2019. We introduced the first with Mother-of-Pearl and Black Lip Pearl, which we limited to 100 pieces, to members of the Knife Collectors Club in August 2019.

As the name implies, a button lock folder is simply a folder with a locking mechanism that utilizes a button, typically near the pivot, to release the blade lock. This Button Lock has a open frame titanium handle with inlays on both sides built of strips of Desert Ironwood separated from the center squares of Mother-of-Pearl by strips of nickel silver. The 3-1/4"  drop point blade is VG-10 at 59-61 Rc. with a single reversible thumbstud. The titanium pocket clip is reversible for right or left hand, tip-up carry. Measures 3-1/2"  closed. Weighs 2.1 oz. The knife is made in China. The handle scales are added in  Santa Fe, New Mexico.
