This is the first collection from Viper we have offered in over 15 years - the last one was in 2008. Viper® is one of several companies involved in maintaining the level of quality for which Maniago has been know for generations. Knives made by Viper will bear the rigors of everyday use with ease. The craftsmanship, use of quality blade steels, and beautiful handle materials makes a Viper knife an excellent addition to any collection.
This set has three slipjoint models: the Key, Hug and Twin, all of which have titanium frames with exquisite Mother-of-Pearl handle scales. All blades are Bohler M390 Microclean steel at 59-61 Rc. Each knife has a rounded fileworked backspring. The three knives fit into a unique and attractive display case. The cylindrical display is made of wood and plexiglass and has a magnetic insert that holds the knives in an open position.
The Key has a 3-1/4" drop point blade. It measures 4-1/8" closed. Weighs 2.6 oz. The Hug has a 3-1/8" modified wharncliffe blade. It measures 4-1/8" closed. Weighs 3.4 oz. The Twin has a 3" clip point blade. Measures 3-7/8" closed. Weighs 3.0 oz. All three knives in the display case weighs 1 lb 8.6 oz. Includes a certificate of authenticity. Made in Maniago, Italy.
