This pocketknife was designed for the woodcarver who wants to work anywhere, and not always have to carry his tool roll, mallet and other tools. There are six blades designed for the carver, a detail knife, a straight gouge, hook knife, V-scorp, gouge scorp, and a chisel. All of the blades are razor sharp and all blades lock in the open position.

For years we have watched for woodcarving sets and had not seen one that we felt was worthy of our customer's attention. Now we have found, from one of our top Japanese knifemakers, a set of carving tools with exotic wood handles and fine carbon steel blades in a stitched canvas tool wrap.

Originally a stone-headed hatchet, the steel-headed tomahawk arrived with the French fur trappers as trade goods and quickly became a prized possession of the American Indian. Many designs were in use, varying from the simple hatchet to the elaborately decorated multi-use pieces.

Over the past two years we have mailed thousands of these packages to units in Iraq and Afghanistan. We have sent them to companies of over 100 men and women, to battalions of over 700 men and women and we have mailed them to Special Forces A Teams of only a handful of men. We continue to ship to these units when we have enough information. What we have not been able to do is ship to individuals because the cost of shipping was just too high. It has occurred to me that there are thousands of you who would jump at the chance to send a package to a son or daughter or the son or daughter of a friend who is serving their country outside the United States.
