It is considered a semi-stainless steel, with only 4.25% Chromium. Bohler reports it can reach a maximum of 65 Rc. It has an impressive amount of both Carbona nd Vanadium, and has passed edge retention tests with flying colors. S90V would be considered a comparable steel.
