Knives with titanium handles available for sale. Titanium is both hard and tough, and is about 1/3 the weight of steel which makes it ideal for knife handles. It can come in many forms: smooth, slightly textured, anodized to a particular color, or even polished. Titanium is already an expensive material, and different finishes can increase the cost even more. Titanium is typically associated with premium, quality knives. Titanium does not hold an edge well, and so doesn't make for a good blade material.
