KAI Pure Komachi 2 - Nakiri
Item #: KE-AB5071
$13.95
The Nakiri or Japanese style vegetable knife, like the Santoku style blade, has a very limited "rocking" motion when cutting. It has a straight blade edge and that helps to make your vegetable prep tasks even easier. The hollow-ground indentations in the blade help to release food from the blade.
Vibrant monochromatic colors make the Pure Komachi 2 series a striking addition to any kitchen, but the deceptively playful colors serve a purpose. Each style of knife has a different color, making it easy to choose the right knife for the job, guarding against cross-contamination of your food. The food safe blade coating resists against corrosion and helps the knife glide through food with ease. Green handle and blade. The 5-1/2" blade of high-carbon at 57-59 Rc. the thin blade is useful for cutting vegetables. Measures 10-1/4" and weighs 2.9 oz. Ships with a matching blade cover. Hand washing and drying is recommended. Made in China.
