Maserin Personal Steak Knife with Ebony Handles
Item #: MAS-380EB
$135.00
Maserin®, one of the top knife manufacturers in Maniago, Italy was established in 1960. The owners, members of the family who founded it, have built this company on the tradition of the artisan blacksmiths who were the reason Maniago became known as the "city of the knives". Using laser, CNC and other current technology, Maserin® has modernized their knifemaking processes while maintaining Maniago's high quality standards.
In addition to producing many of the traditional European pocketknives and hunting knives, Maserin also produces high quality knives for food preparation. This folding steak knife is one I find most interesting. Because of my many years of travel to trade shows and eating in hotel restaurants, I understand a person's desire to use his own knife to cut his steak. But let's not ruin that high dollar collectible to accomplish the task. This very fine knife is elegant enough for the finest restaurant, but won't break the bank. The 3-7/8" classic drop point blade is AUS-8 stainless at 57-59 Rc. with a fine satin finish. The blade is held in the open position with a liner style lock. Measures 4-3/4" closed and weighs 3.1 oz. Ships with a black leather pocket pouch to protect it in your jacket pocket or your hip pocket. Made in Italy.

Maserin Knives
Maserin was established in 1960. The owners, members of the family who founded it, have built this company on the tradition of the artisan blacksmiths who were the reason Maniago became known as the "city of the knives". Maserin ®, and Maniago in general, has modernized their knife making processes using laser, CNC, and other current technology, while maintaining high quality and building on traditional models, many of which they continue to produce. In Maniago, they are responding to the challenge of market globalization by finding ways to keep new generations interested. They continue to exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit, new marketing strategies, and a constant improvement of production standards.
