The Swiss Border Guard folder from Swiss knifemaker H. P. Klotzli is a knife for the gentleman with tactical demands. Designed by Dietmar Pohl with a titanium handle shaped for a number of different hand positions for different uses. If you are familiar with Klotzli folding knives, you will notice that this one is just a bit thicker than what you would normally expect, allowing for more power for more agressive use.
The 3-1⁄2" hand-ground blade of Bohler N690 stainless at about 59 Rc. has a polished bead blast finish. The blade locks in the open position with a button lock making it easy to release, but secure in the open position. Ships with a right-handed tip up single position pocket clip. Measures 4-5⁄8" closed. Weighs 4.3 oz. Made in Switzerland.

The high end of the Swiss knife business is the very small shop of H. P. Klötzli who is not only a fifth generation knife retailer in Switzerland, but also the promoter of the very first Swiss custom knife show. H. P. is also a knifemaker, specializing in knives using the liner lock developed by Michael Walker and designs from top European and American knifemakers.
