Maserin Carbon 175 Folder
Item #: MAS-175CF
$39.95
Maserin's Carbon 175 is similar in design to penknives that were being carried during the early 20th century in Europe. They have taken a traditional model and using modern technologies and materials have created a knife that is very much at home today. With carbon fiber for the handle sides, there was no need for steel liners which means this knife is even thinner than the original model. It is so thin (about ¼" at the thickest) and lightweight you won't even know it is in your pocket. The single mirror polished 2-3/4" pen blade is 420 stainless at 56-58 Rc. This is a slip joint that measures 3-1/2" closed. Weighs only 0.8 oz. Made in Italy. Includes a black fabric pouch.

Maserin Knives
Maserin was established in 1960. The owners, members of the family who founded it, have built this company on the tradition of the artisan blacksmiths who were the reason Maniago became known as the "city of the knives". Maserin ®, and Maniago in general, has modernized their knife making processes using laser, CNC, and other current technology, while maintaining high quality and building on traditional models, many of which they continue to produce. In Maniago, they are responding to the challenge of market globalization by finding ways to keep new generations interested. They continue to exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit, new marketing strategies, and a constant improvement of production standards.
