Boker Plus Nessmi Pro
Item #: BO-PL018BRM
$79.95
George W. Sears (1821-1890) published books and magazine articles about life in the wilderness under the pen name Nessmuk. While the origin of the Nessmuk knife is unknown, only one illustration from Mr. Sears gives us an idea of what it looked like. This became known as the Nessmuk. Danish knifemaker Jesper Voxnaes developed this version based on the traditional Nessmuk knife design. The Nessmi Pro from Boker Plus is just the right knife for outdoor use, hunting and everyday cutting tasks.
The 2-3/4" deep bellied blade is D2 steel at 59-61 Rc. with a fine satin finish. The full tang knife measures a mere 6-1/8" overall. With jimping mid-way up the spine of the blade which provides much needed control, this little knife makes an excellent skinning knife. Brown Micarta handle scales with red fiber liners. Includes a tan pouch-style leather belt sheath. Weighs 3.0 oz. Suggested retail is $93.95. Made in China.
