Spyderco Endela Wharncliffe Black plain edge
Item #: SPC243FPWCB
$98.00
The Delica and Endura models have been mainstays of Spyderco's product line since they were first revealed in 1990. Since their introduction these two models have earned a loyal, worldwide following and distinguished themselves among Spyderco's most popular and best selling models. Based on feedback from countless Spyderco enthusiasts, it became clear that there was a need for a "middle-ground" knife. Thus the Endela was born.
Sized to literally split the difference between the Endura 4 and the Delica 4, the Endela maintains all the highly refined, time-tested features of each. The lightweight folder features the fully accessible Trademark Round Hole for ambidextrous one-hand opening. The textured spine jimping allow you to open the blade and position your thumb on the spine with confidence - ready for work.
The 3-3/8" blade is from VG-10 stainless steel with a hardness of 60-62 Rc. It is leaf-shaped and ground flat from spine to cutting edge for top cutting capability. The Endela Wharncliffe’s blade is available with PlainEdge™ format and includes a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ for swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening. The injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) scales are a black color. Molded with their signature Bi-Directional Texture pattern, the lightweight scales provide enhanced grip security during use. Features a lockback and a 4-way pocket clip allow for tip-up or tip-down carry and left-hand or right-hand opening. Measures 4-5/8" closed and weighs 3.2 oz. Made in Japan. Suggested retail is $131.50.

Spyderco
In 1981, Spyderco ventured into the world of knife making by introducing their first folding knife, the C01 Worker. This knife was the first in the industry to feature a round hole in the blade design that allowed for fast, one-hand opening, now the company’s trademark, and the first to feature a pocket clip. The trademarked round hole is the most recognizable feature of a Spyderco knife and it facilitates the easy opening and closing of these knives with one hand while also offering convenient access and maximum control while opening as well as accommodating large, small or gloved hands.
Spyderco’s recognizable appearance is a result of designing ergonomically functional tools rather than applying lipstick and nylons to a pocketknife. Spyderco’s knives may look unusual, but they will never be called unusable or undependable. When you purchase a Spyderco knife, you are buying a high quality reliable cutting tool that was designed and manufactured for peak performance and ergonomic comfort.
