As part of CRKT's Forged By War™ program, Austin McGlaun of Columbus, Georgia, designed the Clever Girl™. It aligns with his philosophy that a knife is more than a tool. It's a psychological deterrent that is very different from a gun. It tells your attacker very quickly that you mean business.
The Clever Girl has a Persian style blade that measures 4-1/4". The blade is made of SK5 carbon steel that has a black powder coating and a hardness of 57-58 Rc. The handle is blue and black G-10 that is textured and shaped for a secure grip. Ships with a multi carry thermoplastic sheath. Measures 10" overall and weighs 6.4 oz. Made in Taiwan. Suggested retail is $150.00.

About the Forged By War™ program:
In 2013, Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical, designer of elite, military, tactical tomahawks, approached CRKT with the news that he had been working with a few combat veterans who had returned from war with varying degrees of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). To help work through their challenges, they had been designing and forging steel into custom tools. Drawing from their experience earned in combat situations, they are creating tools they wished had been available to them in the battlefield. In addition to helping veterans, the Forged by War program donates 10% of CRKT's net profits to the veterans' charity of choice.
