W. R. Case and Sons® have been producing knives for over 100 years and their brand is absolutely one of the most well known. For generations many "firsts" in pocketknives have been Case® knives. These knives are still being handed down from father to son and from grandfather to grandson. The Barlow style is a traditional pattern that can be traced back to the English pocketknives from the 17th Century. One of the oldest models around, the Barlow is easily recognized by the extra long bolster and blade(s) hinged at the bolster end of the knife handle.

This version from Case has bone handle scales that have been dyed a nice gray blue, jigged with the Crandall pattern then they apply the Pocket Worn® finish. The Pocket Worn finish was introduced by Case in 1996, raising the hand finishing process to a new level. To give the new knife a smooth, worn look and feel, like that trusted old Case pocketknife, Case artisans rounded the bolsters even further, turned the edges a little more, and buffed the handles a little harder. Each knife in these families share the character of a trusted old pocketknife with the sure function of one freshly opened out of the box.

The gray bone blends beautifully with the brass pins and liners, and nickel silver bolsters. The handle has a nickel silver oval script shield inlayed. The two blades are a 2-1/2" clip point and a 2" pen blade. Both blades are mirror polished 1095 Carbon steel. Measures 3-3/8" closed. It is a slip joint. Weighs 2.9 oz. Made in the U. S. A. Suggested Retail $104.90.
