$59.95
W. R. Case and Sons® celebrated their 135th anniversary this year. This brand with the exception of a few forays into the modern tactical market, has always been made in the U.S.A. Often we will have customers come into our store and talk about finding a knife like one their grandfather had and it would be a Case.
Several times a year Case will a release a seasonal drop of new knives that are available for a limited time. The Peach Seed Jigged Harvest Orange Bone is one of those from the Spring 2024 drop. The deep Harvest Orange Bone goes nicely with the brass liners. All knives have an oval script Case shield made from nickel silver and the blades are made with mirror polished Tru-Sharp™ surgical steel. The bone handles have been jigged with their Peach Seed pattern helping to give these knives a timeless look.
The Sod Buster is a classic style knife meant for hard work. Unlike other traditional style knives it does not have a bolster. The slightly curved handle helps you have a steady grip. The skinner blade measures 2-7/8" in length. Has brass liners with a slip joint lock. Measures 3-1/2" closed. Weighs 2.0 oz. The Tru-Sharp™ surgical blade steel has a hardness of 54-57 Rc. Made in the U.S.A. Suggested retail is $84.00.

Case Knives
W. R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company is an American manufacturer of traditional pocket knives, limited edition commemoratives and collectibles. It makes American made traditional pocket knives in a variety of patterns, blade styles, and handle materials. They are particularly well known for their specialized dying process - creating beautiful and colorful bone handles. Case prefers to use their proprietary Tru-Sharp stainless steel. Tru-Sharp sharpens and polishes easily and is enjoyed by collectors all over.
The roots of the company span all the way back to 1889. W.,R. Case & Sons notably made knives in World War 1, notably the M3 Fighting Knife for servicemen and the V-42 stiletto for the Devil’s Brigade. They also made knives for NASA astronauts for when they touched back down on earth and were waiting to be picked up. The Case Company is currently owned by the Zippo Manufacturing Company, based in the same city, which is well known for their Zippo lighters. You can see great synergy between the companies as they share equipment and expertise like inlaid dyed bone handles and laser engraving machinery.
