Benchmade 2024 Gold Class Immunity
Item #: BE-290-24
$600.00
Benchmade® typically introduces an upgraded Limited Production knife for collectors every year. In 2023 they did not. For 2024 that knife is the Immunity folder, a newer model that was designed after requests came from federal employees who are restricted to carrying a knife with a blade 2-1⁄2" or under in most federal buildings. This limited production is made with premium materials, including a Ægir™ pattern Damasteel® blade and contoured UniDirectional Carbon Fiber handle scales. It is accented with bright Sapphire blue PVD coated stainless steel liners, lanyard bead, thumbstuds, barrel spacer and pocket clip.
The 2-1⁄2" modified Wharncliffe blade is Ægir™ pattern Damasteel® at 60-62 Rc. The pattern was inspired by Norse mythology and takes design cues from the Baltic Sea. Damasteel is considered by most to be one of the best performing stainless Damascus steels in the world. It is produced in Sweden using the latest gas-atomized powder metal technology with very high cleanliness, to create incomparable toughness and strength combined with excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance. It is a user-friendly steel that is made to be abused. Dual sided thumbstuds and reversible pocket clip, along with Benchmade's Axis® lock, make it truly ambidextrous. Measures 3-1⁄2" closed. Weighs 2.2 oz. Made in the U.S.A.
