CRKT Walker Blade Lock
Item #: CL-4200
$94.95
Michael Walker, custom knifemaker and respected innovator in the world of knives, is credited with over 20 knife mechanisms, including the ball detent which added a bias toward closure to his version of the liner-lock. The Liner-Lock is perhaps the most popular locking mechanism used in today's folders.
Michael's trailblazing Blade Lock folder has been re-released with modern materials that still retain the classic looks of Walker's original. The Walker Blade Lock is a positive lock system that keeps the blade locked in the open and closed positions. The mechanism operates with a spring-loaded tab behind the thumbstud on the blade. To open or close the knife, depress the thumbstud while pushing forward or back to rotate the blade in place.
The 2-7⁄8" modified sheepsfoot blade is 14C28N stainless at 58-60 Rc. The stainless steel handle has an overlay of brown and black G-10. A single-position pocket clip is positioned for tip-up right-hand carry. The blade measures 4" closed and weighs 4.0 oz. Made in China. The suggested retail price is $124.99.
