Arno Bernard has been a member of the Southern Africa Knifemakers' Guild for many years. He started out in the late 1970's like many first time makers, by using the steel from a saw blade for his first few knives. In the mid-1990's, he became a full time knifemaker and uses some of the finest materials available, with handles of Mammoth Ivory, Warthog Tusk, Ram's Horn or stabilized Giraffe Bone.
