Machetes are a sort of catchall term for big long knives - usually used for brush clearing and agriculture. Machetes come in many shapes, sizes, and styles. Machetes can be big, short, thick, or thin. Common "sub-styles" are Jungle Bolos, Kukri knives, parang blades, recurved machetes, and drop point machetes. They are great companions for camping, clearing land and brush, some are even designed for fighting, or agricultural uses like harvesting sugar cane or splitting coconuts.
