Benchmade Kitchen CutleryTaken Care of, They'll Last a Lifetime
A few years ago Benchmade® introduced kitchen cutlery through their custom order line. At that time customers could only order directly through Benchmade. As a dealer, we could not get them. Almost immediately we had customers asking to see and order the knives.
Once they became available to dealers, of course we ordered them. Curious to see how well they did, we offered them only in our retail store. They did surprisingly well. That is why you are seeing them in our printed catalog. There are now a total of five knives avaible to us. The blade steel is CPM-154 at 58-61 Rc. with a stonewash finish. The handle scales are brown Richlite® with black G-10 rear bolsters. Richlite is a durable multi-layered fiber paper composite that has been used for over 80 years as a lightweight construction material. All are made in the U.S.A.
We always recommend that you never put a sharp knife in a dishwasher or let them set in a sink full of water. Benchmade says to wash by hand using only a mild soap and water. Then hand dry.
This 3-piece cutlery set includes a chef's knife, a utility knife and a paring knife. The chef's knife has a 8" blade and measures 13" overall. Weighs 7.0 oz. The utility knife has a 6" blade and measures 10-1⁄2" overall. Weighs 4.4 oz. The paring knife has a 4-1⁄4" blade and measures 8-3⁄4" overall. Weighs 3.2 oz.
