Benchmade Mini Presidio II CF-Elite Satin Plain Edge
Item #: BE-575-1
$162.00
Benchmade® has introduced a smaller version of the Presidio II. The Presidio II is equipped with the Benchmade’s AXIS lock, used extensively by Benchmade. The lock consists of a small, hardened steel bar that rides forward and back in a slot machined into both steel liners. The bar extends to both sides of the knife, spans the liners and is positioned over the rear of the blade. It engages a ramped tang portion of the knife blade when it is opened. Two omega-style springs, one on each liner, give the locking bar its inertia to engage the knife tang. As a result, the tang is wedged solidly between a sizable stop pin and the AXIS® bar itself. The AXIS® lock has the added benefit of "suck-back," which encourages the blade to stay in the closed position.
The Mini Presidio II is available with a handle of black CF-Elite™. A molded polymer that incorporates strands of carbon fiber, CF-Elite™ is up to 17% lighter and 50% stiffer than traditional glass filled polymers.
This is a beefy knife with a 3-1⁄8" drop point blade of CPM-S30V stainless at 58-60 Rc. It is available in a satin finish with a plain edge. The reversible pocket clip is positioned for tip up carry. Measures 4-1/4" closed. Weighs 4.0 oz. Made in the U.S.A. Suggested Retail is $180.00 for satin finish.
Option B is SOLD OUT.
