The Benchmade 940 model has been a popular knife. The slim profile and light carry weight have made it the perfect EDC knife. The first model featured green anodized aluminum handles, it is now being offered with carbon fiber handle scales.
The 3-3/8" modified reverse tanto blade is made from CPM-S90V stainless steel at 59-61 Rc., and features dual thumb stud openers for easy ambidextrous use. The blade comes with a plain edge. The carbon fiber handle scales feature stainless steel liners and a anodized titanium back spacer. The handle also supports a reversible stainless steel pocket clip. Incorporating the exclusive Benchmade AXIS locking system, created by custom knifemakers Bill McHenry and Jason Williams. Weighs 2.4 oz. Made in the U.S.A. Suggested Retail $350.00.
