Boker Applegate-Fairbairn Dagger Green Micarta
Item #: BO-AF55GCM
$559.95
Over 30 years ago Col. Applegate premiered his Applegate - Fairbairn Fighting Knife. The first version was handmade by T. J. Yancy in Colorado. This knife had a long life. When T. J. stopped making them, Al Mar made them in Japan. While Blackjack had their factory operating in Illinois, they made the knife, and now they are being made by Boker in Solingen, Germany. It is my opinion that these are the very best value of all of the knives, they retail for half of what T. J. charged the Colonel. They are of great quality and sell for about one fourth the original price.
The 5-5/8" double ground blade of German 440C hardened to 57-59 Rc. is plain edged and the surface of the blade is bead blasted. The CNC machined handle, made of green canvas micarta, are extremely durable and comfortable and these offer even in wet environments a perfect grip. The overall length measures 10-3/4". Comes with a black nylon sheath. Weighs 8.4 oz. Suggested retail is $658.00.
