This large dagger, made in Boker's® Arbolito® factory in Argentina, is a classic stag handled knife that will impress those of you who favor huge knives. It will impress with its size alone, but once you hold it, you will also be impressed by its sturdy full tang construction. The blade is ACX 390 steel that is sharpened on both edges and has a nice satin finish. ACX 390 is a Spanish stainless steel with properties very similar to 4034 steel. It contains 14% Chromium, which improves tensile strength, cutting resistance, corrosion resistance and wear resistance, 0.36-0.42% Carbon, 0.75% Silicon, 1.00% Manganese, 0.040% Phosphorus, 0.015 Sulphur and 0.06-0.09% Nitrogen.
The stag handle scales are secured to the full tang with nickel silver studs. Red fiber liners separate the stag scales from the metal tang. The 10" dual edged dagger blade is ACX 390 stainless at 55-56 Rc. Ships with a brown leather sheath. Measures 15-5<2215>8"" overall. Measures 1 lb 2.1 oz. Made in Argentina.
