Today, a set of two knives carried in a single-sheath is not very common even though knives have been carried this way since nearly the beginning of time. This set includes a hunter with a 3-1⁄2" guthook blade and a caper with a 2-1⁄4" drop point blade. Both full tang knives have European stag handle scales with brass pins. Years ago we carried a similar set that we worked with Boker to create, that set had European stag handle scales with an ebony bolster on the larger knife. That set has long since been sold out.
A few weeks ago, I was contacted by a long-time sales rep letting me know that Boker had 41 pieces of this set left. I decided to take them. The blade steel is 440A at 56-57 Rc. The hunter measures 8-1⁄2" tip to butt and weighs 6.6 oz. The Caper measures 4-7⁄8" and weighs 2.8 oz. Includes an embossed leather two knife sheath. Made in Argentina.
