This knife and fork set begins with the centruies old pattern used by Bavarian hnters to vcarry in the pocket on the lef of the Lederhosen (leather shorts). Made a simple knife of that pattern (almost a perfect steak knife) with scales of the anter of European Red Deer, add those same great stag scales to a fork and you have a picnic set as elegant as anyone could wish for. Could be sed at your favorite resaruant or for travel; it is even fine enough to grace your linen tablecloth when serving venison or wild boar. Each set ships in a fine leather sheath that will protect it in the picnic basket or your cabinet. Knife and fork measure about 8"overall. Weighs 6.3 oz in the sheath.
