Boker TRPPR with Bog Oak
Item #: BO-2139BO
$329.95
While the name may look unusual, the TRPPR (pronounced trapper) is based on a traditional knife pattern, which you can easily see. Using a blade flipper and ball bearings in the pivot, the MagnaCut blade opens swiftly and smoothly. The integral frame-lock with an overtravel stop reliably secures the blade in the open position.
The handle frame is Titanium with a fine satin finish with Bog Oak scales. The Bog Oak comes from trees that have been buried and preserved in bogs for hundreds or even thousands of years. It can be hard to find so is pretty limited. Most of it is dark brown to almost black, which is a natural result of being in the bog.
The Boker tree mark is etched into the head of the pivot screw on the obverse side. The 3-1⁄4" satin finished clip point blade is MagnaCut stainless at 61-62 Rc. Measurs 4-1⁄8" closed. Weighs 2.5 oz. Suggested retail is $388.00. Made in Solingen, Germany. (Marked on the spine of the blade.)
