Buck 664 Alpha Hunter Richlite Handle Material
Item #: BU664BR
$199.95
Hoyt Buck's first knife, made from a worn-out file blade in 1902, was a fixed blade, and for many years, all Buck knives were fixed blades. Now, over 120 years later, Buck Knives continues to offer a comprehensive line of fixed-blade knives, ideal for field and work.
New to the fixed blade lineup for 2023 is the 664 Alpha. Designed for hunters, the blade is meant to do it all. The Alpha combines high-performance S35VN blade steel with a full tang high-ground blade shape desgined to move easily through material without bunching. The jimping along the blade spine makes it easy to choke-up on the blade for any tricky blind cuts. The textured handle provides a stong positive grip even when wet. The Alpha definitly deserves a spot in your pack.
The 5" drop point style blade of S35VN stainless steel at 59-61 Rc. has a very nice satin finish. The handle is made out of machine textured Richlite, a highly sustainable material made of resin-infused paper. Measures 8-1/4" overall and weighs 4.7 oz. A brown leather sheath is included. Made in the USA. Suggested Retail $250.00.

Buck Knives
Buck Knives has been around for a very long time. In fact, Buck Knives was just switching from handmade knives out of a Southern California Garage to factory made knives about the same time we began the A.G. Russell ™ Knife mail order business. Over the past half century buck has become one of the largest and most important knife companies in the world. They are so well known, in some parts of the country pocketknives are referred to as “Buck Knives.”
