Smooth, lightweight and one-hand opening. This series of knives offer an ultra smooth, one-hand opening and lock open using a stainless steel liner lock. These knives are built with two stainless steel liners for extra durability and safety. Each knife has an ergonomic grip and the drop point blade offers remarkable cutting ability. The Vantage is ideal for an everyday carrying knife.
This is Buck's standard blade material These Vantage models feature Buck's standard blade 420HC stainless steel. This steel has the wear resistance of high carbon alloys while delivering the corrosion resistance of chromium stainless steels. Add their exclusive heat-treat process and you have a very user-friendly combination of superior corrosion resistance with excellent strength for wear resistance and durability. You also have a blade that is easy to resharpen. For best performance they harden the steel to a Rockwell hardness of Rc 58-60.
The handles are available in two options; black Glass-reinforced nylon or rosewood DymaLux®. Made in the U.S.A.
