When knife designer Alan Folts was in the middle of moving his workshop, he decided to center his next design around whatever scraps he had left. The Fawkes was born. Named for the phoenix from the popular Harry Potter series, Fawkes rises from the ashes, resurrected from Alan's scrap material.
The 2-3/4" modified drop point blade snaps open utilizing Ken Onion's award-winning Assisted Opening feature and the IKBS™ ball bearing pivot system, allowing for the blade to deploy in the blink of an eye for a smooth rotation. The orange and black layered G-10 handle scales rest on stainless steel liners. The blade is 1.4116 stainless at 55-57 Rc. Locks with a liner style lock. The pocket clip is positioned for tip-up reversible right or left hand carry. Measures 3-3/4" closed. Weighs 3.4 oz. Made in Taiwan. Suggested retail is $89.99.
