CRKT's® Monument™ folder was designed by well known Taos, New Mexico knifemaker Michael Walker, and is based on one of his favorite custom designs. The name comes from the many natural monuments in and around his hometown of Taos. It could also be considered a monument to knifemaking achievement.
CRKT has partnered with Lion Steel to create a short limited run of 500 knives. This version will be available to only a select few of their “Key Partners”. The handle sides are titanium that has been milled with a “Dragon Skin” texture that is anodized in a bright blue color. No detail on this knife has been overlooked, from the pin stripes on the pocket clip to the Bluetongue™ pattern Damasteel® on the pivot.
The 3" modified sheepsfoot blade is high-grade Bohler M390 stainless at 60-61 Rc. for superior cutting performance. The low-profile blade flipper uses IKBS™ ball bearings for a quick and smooth manual action. Liner-style lock. The blade has a satin finish. Measures 4-1⁄8" closed. Weighs 3.9 oz. Made in Maniago, Italy.
