The Padawan is Pedro Buzetti's first knife design with CRKT. As an apprentice to renowned knifemaker Flavio Ikoma, known to some as the “Master", Buzetti's role as “padawan" was the perfect inspiration to debut his first design. This frame lock folder was crafted for form and function. The drop point blade is made from 14C28N steel for excellent edge retention. The blade opens smooth and fast with the added IKBS™ ball bearing pivot and the blade flipper. The durable stainless steel handle comes with a brown micarta overlay that will withstand hard use and gives the user a sure grip. The frame lock utilizes a thick lock bar to secure the blade.
The 2-7/8" drop point blade has a hardness at 58-60 Rc. The IKBS™ bearings ensure a smooth deployment. The blade is deployed using the blade flipper. Measures 4-1/8" closed. Weighs 3.2.oz. The pocket clip is positioned for a tip-up carry. Made in China. Suggested retail is $99.99.
