This is the second variation of the Pursue that Columbia River Knife & Tool has offered through a few of their preferred dealers. They partnered with Lion Steel in Italy to create a limited run of 500 knives. The knife was inspired by one of Michael Walker's original zipper blade custom knives. It has a unique handle shape with an oversized pivot that tapers down to a slim butt end for a comfortable fit in the hand. The handle sides are Red Fat Carbon Dark Matter with a Mother of Pearl inlay in the pivot on the obverse (front) side. The Fat Carbon is very dark, almost black, with flecks of red.
The 3-1/8" acid etched drop point blade is Super Dense Twist™pattern Damasteel® at 58-60 Rc. It pivots on IKBS™ ball bearings for quick and smooth manual action. Liner-style lock. Measures 4-1/2" closed. Weighs 3.8 oz. Made in Maniago, Italy. Ships in a black nylon zippered pouch in a black magnetic closure gift box.
