Designer Phillip Booth grew up watching sparks fly in his father's tool and die shop. He has since made a serious name for himself from his own shop, designing and making knives. Following in the footsteps of the original Ripsnort™, Philip has created the next chapter with the Ripsnort™ II. The cleaver style blade is still thin as a razor, just with a larger profile in a larger handle.
The 3-1/2" blade is 8Cr13MoV stainless at 58-59 Rc. with a thumbstud for fast ambidextrous one-hand opening. The black glass-reinforced nylon handle scales have a stainless steel inlay to add interest to the handle profile. A liner lock, it measures 4-7/8" closed and weighs 6.2 oz. Ships with a single position pocket clip placed for right-handed tip down carry. Made in China. Suggested retail is $79.99.
