To create two unique new knives, Randall has chosen the Companion and the Model 27 Mini. This is the first time I have seen a Randall knife with copper fittings. As far as I can tell, there has never even been one made as a single for a customer.
The quantity available to dealers of any Randall knife is very limited. The quantity available to us each month of these two is extremely so. We have accumulated knives for several months to be sure we have enough to cover the demand from our customers. We have a small quantity with more scheduled to deliver each month.
The blades are 440B, Randall's standard stainless steel at about 56 Rc. The fittings, including a single guard, butt cap or butt plate and spacers are copper. Both are handmade in the Randall shop in Orlando, Florida.
Due to Randall's high volume of orders, if A.G. Russell Knives does not have this knife ordered delivery is currently taking a year or more. If ordered directly from Randall the wait is currently about 6 years.

Randall Copper Companion
The Randall Companion has a 5" blade of 3/16" stock. The top edge of the blade is sharpened from the point back to the end of the clip. Thumb notches on top of blade enhance grip. The narrow tang handle is Amber Stag with copper, black Micarta® and red fiber spacers, and a 1/16" thick copper butt plate. Measures 9-5/8" tip to butt. Weighs 8.7 oz. Includes a Model A leather sheath.

Randall Copper Model 27 Mini
The Randall™ Miniature Trailblazer was based on Randall's full sized Trailblazer with a stag handle. The Mini was created in 2012 to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Randall Knives. It was the first miniature to ever be included as a Randall catalog item – all other miniatures have been special limited runs.
The Copper Model 27 Mini has a 3-1/2" blade of 1/8" stock. The narrow tang handle is Green Linen Micarta® with leather and black fiber spacers, a single copper guard and a copper butt cap. Measures 6-7/8" tip to butt. Weighs Includes a Model A leather sheath.

Randall Made Knives
For over 75 years, Randall knives have been the best-known handmade knives in the world. No two Randall Made™ knives are exactly alike, for no jigs or patterns are used in their final construction. Large-scale commercial production with this kind of attention to detail is not feasible and that's why knives of this unique quality are not widely available.
Gary Randall, the present owner, took over from his father, W. D. "Bo" Randall, in the mid 1970's and the shop remains so busy that today it takes over five years to get a knife directly from them. We are one of the few authorized Randall dealers, and try to keep a stock of their knives. Because our orders with Randall are booked years in advance, if we don't have the knife that you want in stock, we can usually have it for you about 10 months, knives with stag will take a year or more. For anyone wanting to order directly from Randall the price will be lower but the wait will be extremely long.
