The GRN handle has an overmolded rubberized grip area for increased comfort even with multiple different hand grips. The Aegis FX's handle materials and specific texturing help to guarantee a sure grip when it's cold and wet outside.
Its full-tang CRYO 4116 Krupp stainless steel blade is corrosion resistant and persistently holds its edge. 4116 is a fine-grained stainless steel produced by German ThyssenKrupp manufacturers. The steel was initially developed for hygienic applications like the medical industry due to its incredible resistance against corrosion, unbeatable strength, and excellent edge retention. The black GRN sheath includes SOG’s configurable Universal Mounting System to provide a host of carrying options that is compatible with straps, belts and MOLLE.
The drop point stonewashed blade measures 3-5/8” and has s hardness of 58-60 Rc. The overall length is 8-5/8". The black handle has moss green accents. Weighs 4.7 oz. Made in Taiwan. Suggested Retail $94.95.
