Aegis (ee-jis), which in Greek means shield or protection, is also the code name for the world's premier integrated air defense system, and the sea-based element of the United States Ballistic Missile Defense System.

The all-metal construction handle is made from stonewashed stainless steel with a deep-carry pocket clip. The blade is made from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and has a hardness of 58-59 Rc. Measures 4-1/2" closed and weighs 5.0 oz. Made in China. Suggested retail $43.95.
